Live chat

Crisp

Count a Crisp conversation as a conversion, from the OrcLink script on your page.

Built, not yet tested liveBuilt. Not yet tested against a live Crisp account.

Live: shipped in OrcLink's production release before this one. Built, not yet tested live: built and tested with sample data, not yet run against a live account of the vendor. Coming soon: listed, not available to connect yet.

How to connect

  • Capture > Rules > Live chat: tick Crisp. The OrcLink script must be on the pages that show the chat.

What OrcLink reads

  • The start of a chat or the pre-chat form: one conversion per conversation. The email and phone only when the chat tool hands them over as such.

What OrcLink writes back

  • Nothing, unless you turn on "Send channel, source, medium and campaign to my chat tool": then the chat tool's visitor fields get them after advertising consent (never in HIPAA mode or strict consent mode).

Never stored

  • Chat messages: never read.
  • Raw email or phone: hashed on our server.

Known limits

  • The chat tool's event names are written from its public documentation and not yet checked on a live chat: check with Capture > Test tool.
  • Any other chat tool: call orc.trackChat({ email, phone }) from its own callback.
