Data region

Where a workspace's data is stored.

How it works

  • Each workspace has a data region (the United States, the European Union or the United Kingdom), set when it is created from the deployment it was created on, and shown in Settings > Privacy > Agreements and data location.
  • One deployment serves one region with its own database. A deployment refuses to open a workspace of another region and names where to sign in.

Known limits

  • OrcLink runs one deployment today; a deployment in another region is set up by OrcLink's operator and is not running yet.
  • No setting or API changes a workspace's region.
