Install
Install the OrcLink script (/t.js)
The first-party script: visits, click ids, form capture and the hidden click-id field, on your own tracking subdomain.
Steps
- In your DNS, add a CNAME record for a tracking subdomain (for example t.yourdomain.com) to the target shown in Conversions > Install.
- Add the subdomain under Domains and wait for it to verify.
- Paste the snippet in the <head> of every page (Conversions > Install shows it with your workspace id). It is async and never blocks your page.
<script async src="https://t.YOURDOMAIN.com/t.js?w=<workspace id>" data-w="<workspace id>"></script>
What else works without an extra step
- Subdomains: the cookies are set on your main domain, so www, book and shop share one visit. Put the snippet on every subdomain.
- Single-page apps: route changes are recorded.
- More than one website: add each site's tracking subdomain under Domains and put the snippet on every site.
Consent
The script follows the consent manager on your page (CookieYes, OneTrust, Cookiebot, Google Consent Mode v2, IAB TCF) while "Follow the consent manager on the page" is on (Conversions > Install; on by default), and then treats Global Privacy Control, and Do Not Track while you honour it, as a refusal. Whatever the script does, a capture request that carries either signal records no ad click and no visit (see "Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track"). Load your consent manager before /t.js. Every cookie and storage key is in the help article "Privacy and consent" and in the privacy policy.
