Moving from Ruler Analytics
Import a Ruler Analytics export of leads or revenue with the Ruler column presets on CSV upload.
Steps
- Export your leads or revenue from Ruler as a CSV file.
- Data in > CSV upload: choose the type (Leads for a leads export, Revenue for a revenue export), pick the file and press "Check the file".
- Column preset: choose "Ruler Analytics: leads export" or "Ruler Analytics: revenue export" and press "Apply and check again".
- Check every column the preset filled (they are marked as guesses) and change any in the mapper below it. Then read the dry run (rows, errors, match rate) and import.
What is imported, and what is not
- Imported: leads and revenue (id, date, value, currency, label, status and stage where the export has them, and email and phone, hashed when read).
- Not imported: sources (channel, source, medium, campaign, keyword, landing page). OrcLink attributes from the clicks and visits it recorded itself; it has no place for an imported touch.
- Not imported: Ruler's visitor id. It is not an OrcLink click id.
- A lead or sale finds a click only by an OrcLink click id or by a hashed email or phone that an OrcLink capture tied to a click. History from before OrcLink was installed usually matches no click.
Known limits
- Ruler's export column names are guesses (OrcLink has no Ruler account). A header the preset does not know is left for you to map.
- Dates must be ISO 8601 (2026-10-01, or a date-time with its time zone). Rows with another date format are skipped with an error by line: change the column in a spreadsheet first.
- Like every upload, the import is history: never sent to ad platforms, and it can be undone.
